Does Love Truly Conquers All?

Somehow I don’t get why people want to be and stay in relationships that don’t make them happy? I know I was one of them but now that I’m not, it truly makes me ponder.

Are human beings that desperate for some attention that they didn’t mind not being happy?
Do we really need to feel loved at any cost, even if that includes one’s well being?
Are we just that lonely?

It’s truly a sad situation to see how people long to be hurt in order to be loved. Especially people you know and love. Sometimes love just isn’t worth all the pain one has to put through. After all, not everybody gets their happily ever after... They say love is blind, but to be blinded by love to such an extent is just horrifying to me. Can the value of someone who you do not know be so much higher than your own?

Why can’t they just be glad with who they are and who they have around them?
